The UVU Museum of Art (formerly Woodbury Art Museum) is a dynamic institution recognized for engaged and diverse exhibitions, programs and partnerships. Since the museum’s founding in 2002, it has been an important place for the stewardship of art and education in the community.

In 2022, the Museum moved from the University Place to the Bastian estate, known as the Lakemount Manor, which was generously donated to Utah Valley University by the Bastian family.

The UVU Museum of Art provides students with learning opportunities through courses and internships on the way towards their degrees in interdisciplinary arts. It also provides unique and innovative programs and exhibitions that cultivate community appreciation for the arts.

The Woodbury Art Museum is an official extension of Utah Valley University (UVU), despite its distance from campus. The Woodbury Art Museum remains a fascinating destination for students and non-students alike.

Over the past fourteen years, the museum has collected nearly 500 works of art and accrued five named collections. Together, these works create the Permanent Collection and are displayed periodically on a rotating timeline.

​The museum cares for the collection, and works to conserve pieces in need on an annual basis. The WAM also remains dedicated to advocating for artists on display.

The Woodbury Art Museum serves as a catalyst in engaging the Orem community in aesthetic investigation and cultural awareness. The museum collects, preserves, and exhibits art and related materials, focusing on modern and contemporary artistic styles and issues.

The exhibitions, programs, and collections stimulate thoughtful research and serve as a valuable resource in the UVU academic setting as well as in the community at large.

The Woodbury Museum of Art exhibits are constantly changing by bringing in traveling exhibitions and featuring particular artists.
