Comprehensive Educational Experience

- Performing professional skin care facials and extractions.
- Demonstrating how to clean and care for skin properly and recommending skin-care regimens.
- Determining which skin care products will improve clients’ skin quality and appearance.
- Removing body and facial hair by applying wax.
- Training to use specialized products and performing techniques such as chemical peels and treatment masks.
- Education in the use various hair, cosmetic, or nail care instruments.
Makeup Artistry:
- Advising clients about colors and types of makeup and instructing them in make-up application techniques.
- Selecting and applying cosmetic products.
- Recommending and selling recommended cosmetics to clients.
- Tinting eyelashes and eyebrows.
Medical Procedures:
- Collaboration with plastic surgeons and dermatologists in order to provide patients with preoperative and postoperative skin care.
- Referring clients to medical personnel for treatment of serious skin problems.
- Sterilization of equipment and proper cleaning of work areas.
- Assisting in the administration of medications or treatments.
- Business Skills and Responsibilities:
- Record keeping of client needs and preferences, and the services provided.
- Developing effective and valuable customer service techniques.
- Conducting business transactions and collecting payments from the client.
- Evaluating product inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Maintaining appointment calendar and client contact records.
