More than 1.4 million items are checked out annually. This library also hosts the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival and holds it own readings and performances. Murdock Canal Trail
Murdock Canal Trailhead
Orem, UT 8405
In the early 1900s, the Utah Valley Pioneers manually dug the original Murdock Canal to deliver water from the Provo River for irrigation in Northern Utah County.
In 2012, the Murdock Canal was finally enclosed using a 10 1/2 foot steel pipe. This presented an opportunity to create the Murdock Canal Trail.
Many connect to the Murdock Trailhead from the Provo River Parkway
